Meet the Team
Kristin was a reporter in Philadelphia for two years before venturing out to Los Angeles to try her hand at the normal "9-to-5 desk job." Finding her passion in both helping people and writing, she worked as a barista—brightening and caffinating people's mornings—and writing as a freelancer for the Denver VOICE.
After a year of slinging shots and pounding the keyboard, she took over the direction and fundraising of the VOICE and has since transitioned to focus on the editorial. She freelances a bit and is the marketing manager for Lighthouse Writers Workshop. She also is secreatary on the board for the North American Street Newspaper Association.
