Become a vendor

We are recruiting vendors to sell the Denver Voice. The Voice vendor program is designed to give job opportunities to people who have or currently are experiencing homelessness. Our motto is, “A hand up, not a hand out!” No experience is necessary; all you have to do is show up for an orientation to get started. This is an opportunity to sell a well-respected publication that raises awareness about issues that directly impact on your life. Spread the word; knowledge is power.

As a vendor, you’ll work whenever you have time, around your own schedule and at your own pace. Sell as often and as much as you’d like. Our top selling vendor sold over 1,000 papers in one month!

After attending the orientation, you will be given an ID badge, your license to sell the Voice, and 10 free papers. After selling your first 10 for $1 each to the public, you can buy more from our distribution centers for 25 cents each, which covers part of the production cost. You earn 75 percent of the sale.

An incentives program helps vendors earn more free papers-- for example, when you sell 100, you get 10 free. When you sell 300 you get 50 for free, and as a member of the “300 Club”, you get to choose your turf… intrigued? Interested? Want to learn more? Pull your friends along with you who want to give it try and come to a distribution center to get started or call us at 303.539.7226.
